I needed about fifteen seconds of it to know that I loved it and wanted to buy the album, based on the strength of one song by a band I'd never heard before.

Same thing happened to me with Broken Bell's High Road.

I like that! I've heard about Broken Bells, but haven't heard them until now... and now, must get that album.

Have you listened to any Ra Ra Riot? Just picked them up, too, and am enjoying muchly.

I hear The Cave all the time, and keep thinking about buying something from this group. But I get impatient with the songs. I guess I'm looking for something a little peppier these days. Something like a Pocketful of Sunshine. ;)
