More remastered vids are up at paper cup: "Writing Notes" and "Real." Both look quite a bit better, particularly in terms of color (which was pretty weird in some of the clips). Still not perfect, but much more watchable

Writing Notes -- has been my favorite vid since January, when I first downloaded it, but now ... the new clips are *perfect*. So beautiful. You've changed the timing a bit, too, and with wonderful results.
Real -- My God, the remastered version is about five times better than the original. I think the meaning is much more precise now with the new edits, and the timing is *so* much better. And the frame holds are a nice touch. The ending is so much more meaningful now, too. (I'm a huge dork, so I had to sit and compare the two a few times to catch all the changes)Wonderfully done. The approach of the camera in the crypt, and in the cave, and Buffy's face when Spike is waiting for the soul is so brilliant. Gorgeous job. I mean it.

Aren't the new WN clips better? I was sitting there subbing them in with this huge dopey smile on my face.

Well, you're my kind of dork. *g* It makes me absurdly pleased to think that someone besides me has taken the time to notice all the little changes -- especially for "Real," which is dozens of little alterations rather than one big set of clip changes. I'm really glad you thought the vids merited this kind of wacky obsessiveness thoughtfulness.
