project remaster: latest installment
More remastered vids are up at paper cup: "Writing Notes" and "Real." Both look quite a bit better, particularly in terms of color (which was pretty weird in some of the clips). Still not perfect, but much more watchable.
"Writing Notes" also has one major change which makes it considerably closer to my original storyboard: I was able to use clips from the rose-spell scene in "A New Man." That scene was part of my original concept for the vid, but I didn't have decent source for it until I got the S4 DVDs. So: now with even more images of hands!
"Real" has been cleaned up considerably; a number of scenes have been re-timed, some talking's been cut, and some potential POV confusions have been rectified. Also, I fell in love with this vid all over again, which led to my maundering on about it on the updates page, including some rambling about why I now think of "Real" and "Glorious #1" as companion pieces.
Next up: "Come On" and "Glorious #1."
