Thanks to everyone who posted or sent corn photos or ready-made icons. I had no idea that corn images would be so popular. Clearly this icon is an idea whose time has come, the local zeitgeist in visual form, representing both our nostalgia for things past and our hopes for our own kitchens.

Or maybe it's just yummy.
