When you first posted that you had made a Wonderfalls vid I tried to think of what song would actually go with the show and came up blank.
I don't know how you did it, but you found the most perfect song for that show. And the video is delightful; i've already watched it about 20 times and I am off to watch it again.

Heh. I found the most perfect song by listening to Meryn Cadell's Bombazine all the way through for the first time in a few years. Halfway through this song, I thought: "Jaye Tyler is in my stereo. How did that happen?"

Glad you like the vid!

Just stealing the sub line I used to pimp this vid out: *dies* <lj user=heres_luck>, Wonderfalls Vid wordsleadmeon August 21 2004, 19:10:43 UTC
'cause that sub line really says the intital reaction I had.

Brilliant song choice. Suits Jaye so perfectly that it's almost erie. I loved every second of that vid, reminding me all over again how much I miss this show and have about zero tolerance for Fox at the moment. Slightly more for the WB, but that's not saying much.

I absolutely love it to death, and I have to go watch it another 10 times at least. lol.

Is it October yet? One of the stations here in Canada is gonna be airing all 13 eps starting the 4th...

thank you! heresluck August 21 2004, 22:43:11 UTC
Well, I'm glad you didn't *really* die, because then you couldn't have told me you liked it, and that would be sad.

Seriously, thank you. I had a lot of trouble with this vid, for various reasons, so it's an enormous relief to hear that people are liking it and getting it and remembering how much they love the show. And thank you for spreading the word about it!

More incredibly late feedback (brought to you by strangefandom flicking my guilty conscience on the raw). I love this vid so much. The song choice is absolutely inspired, and you've done such a fabulous job of catching the quirky, off-kilter sweetness of the show. All stylized and witty.

I think the bit with the sibling squabble and eye-rolling on "hanging in the sub-basement of my immaturity" which cuts to unemployably knocking back a shot might possibly be my favourite. But trying to find a favourite is a tad awkward when really I just put on the headphones to sit and smile at the computer screen for a few minutes (or longer, depending on how often I absently start it over...).

I have a huge soft spot for this vid myself, and I LOVE receiving out-of-the-blue feedback on my older vids, so this comment totally made my morning. "Quirky, off-kilter sweetness" is a terrific description of exactly what I was trying to capture about the show, and it's always lovely to know that another fan of the show thinks I succeeded. Thank you so much!
