Oh Wales, oh my Wales...you have made me yearn so hard to return. My god that book shop..I could live in there. Those Jill pictures are fabulous. Were they expensive? And OH that Robin!!!!!!!!! I only saw a couple when I was there and it just MADE my trip; we don't have robin redbreasts hereand they are a bird I grew to love through reading about them, esp in one of my all time fav books EVER: The Secret Garden. That stuffed horsey is kind of cool but also a little touch disturbing, ya know? Would have been a heck of a project for someone. Darned it, want to go back to the UK so badly now!

Haha! Yeh, that's pretty much how I constantly feel about Wales, too. I love that country.

The Jill pictures were something like £60/£70 each, which I suppose is a pretty good price for an original illustration but was well out of my budget. To be honest, I deseprately need to to go back when I have cash to burn - there was a 279-year-old book I found that was 'only' £45 - that's an amazing price!! I just don't have £40 to spend on non-essentials. D:

That's brilliant: I love that seeing a robin here made your trip, and seeing a currawong in Oz made mine (my literary reference: The Silver Brumby).

Wow. What a gorgeous place!
I love the coins in the trunk - there's probably legends attached to it as well. Emrys! XD The bricked tunnel ... oh, how it would itch me to explore that! Gorgeous 16th century room! Portmeirion really has some stunning landscape.
Hay-on-Wye looks adorable too, especially those cute little book shops! The first one! <3 Heh, murder & mayhem. XD
I definitely need to broaden my horizon and get out of London next time I'm in the UK.
