Various Things About Books

The mood is due to the book I'm reading right now: "The Book Thief." I'm only about half way through, and it's tearing me to pieces, but it is also SO beautiful. A novel set in Nazi Germany, narrated by Death. I want to read more, but I felt like I needed to take a break. Has anyone else out there read this book yet? If it keeps up like this, I'll

The countries visited in books map is such a cool idea! It's true that books can take you anywhere!

It's interesting, in my book group we read Midnight Cactus by Bella Pollen and Grapes of Wrath and we all agreed that they both gave us a good description of those parts of America, that they took us to a place very far away from our cold wet northern part of England :)
