I’ve finally gotten caught up on book reviews (at LibraryThing; Also herebedragons over there), and discovered that I read a total of 181 books in 2007. Which is more than my original goal (of 150), so YAY!

Never let it be said that "The Simpsons" have no redeeming value. After watching the Halloween episode (from Season 2), he's become interested in Edgar Allen Poe. Last night at the library, he checked out a collection of Poe's stories and poems. Right now, I'm listening him to read aloud "The Raven." I am now in possession of a library card for the Conshohocken Free Library. Whoo-HOO! It's a very small, but cute, library, and the librarian was wonderfully friendly. My actual “goal” is to read 150 (which I should be able to complete with no problem), but this seems like a big enough milestone to warrant an entry.
