Thanks! In canon, she's pretty interesting, but that just scratches the surface of possibilities for her, emotionally. I mean, she could just be crazy, but I like imagining she's just a fucking weird person with a troubled past and a bent toward violence.

I need to comment on the stuff I was reading of yours and read more. I was really impressed!

What I really liked the most about this fic was that she seems to feel like she has a stronger connection to Nathan than anyone else, yet she, like everyone else, takes him almost entirely at face value at first, buying all the "brutal" hype and then being crushed and angry when she realizes that he's a normal guy with obvious social anxieties of his own. Very psychological and interesting. Which is the main reason why I love your fics, other than the writing itself. :)

I wish this was all canon. I'd have so much love for her, heh!

I wish I found it as easy to explain other characters through their actions as I find it with her!

I love her so much. She could just fucking be a complete psychopath. But, I prefer to think of her as extremely troubled.

that was really very insightful -- for both lavona and for nathan. i'm going to be honest and say that i didn't fully get the meaning of the teeshirt... but somehow, that and the bit about the dildo were my favorite parts.

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it. I liked those parts two.

Basically I think she'd hide her Explode Me shirt for a few different reasons.

1.) She wouldn't want to admit too openly to liking him, because that would give him some power, and she's been overpowered by men before.

2.) She wouldn't want other people to be in on her secret appreciation for Nathan because it's private.

3.) The message on it almost kind of cheapens her feelings for Nathan.
