[ so far, this is the best part of my day ] supes_ March 12 2011, 16:32:15 UTC
this was very therapeutic for me as well. <3

the fact that it's so well-written, and also hilarious, does not hurt either.

:D:D

I'm very glad you found it therapeutic as well! And that you liked it, and found it funny. I still can't believe what terrible attitudes everyone was expressing.

THAT PLACE IS LIKE A KILLING FIELD. XD

I'll second supes on the hilarious and well written. She said what I was going to. ;)

GLAD YOU LIKE IT, BABES!

It really is like a fuckin'. Circus. Of shame and death. Or something.

I was sent here by supes_. Reading this poem reminded me of a wanky incident in my own life. To be honest, I don't even remember what happened, but I had to dig out my binder of writing to look this up.

What you say about me when I'm not around --
Well that's just not my concern.
What you think of me...
I just couldn't care less.

Turn my back, blow you off,
See how cavilier I can be.
Turn you off, shut you down,
See how much this isn't hurting me.

I flaunt myself, take a bow,
And let the curtain close.
I smile again, but my eyes now burn
I don't know how to care less.

AWESOME. I really love it. Particularly, "I smile again, but my eyes now burn".

Dude, I just looked through my document of poetry from high school, and I got something that also could apply to what I wrote about up there, probably:

To Be Alike, In Fitting InOh, to be that which doth persecute ( ... )

Thanks. :) Most of my poetry is complete and utter crap as I rediscovered last night, but there are a couple I still like.

I was looking at fanficrants again, and man, some of that stuff is a lot meaner than I thought it was, some of it for absolutely no reason at all. I'm not really that nice polite of a person in general, but it kind of shocked me. I mean, if random OCs are people, shouldn't, I dunno, people also be treated like people?

But it's got nothing to do with me, so I'm trying to ignore the train wreck and move on.

YES. This is just like something I believe supes_ said today. YES.
