Getting to start the day with not one but two fresh second-person fics makes me smile. :3

And this one's got some really lovely language in it, too. I mean, look:

That's what life is. It's riding that darkness, using it, because it's not going to go away.

When you're in a desert of awareness, more light is the last thing you need.

Thanks! Man, I was just gonna go back to bed, but I started writing this on my phone (I can write documents on it), and here it is. :-) I like the emotion in this.

I can just see Rockso having a rare, clear moment at 4:45 in the morning, between sniffs, with crusty white crystals drying on the back of his hand, and scribbling this down on the back of a gas station receipt. It's really raw like that, sounds like the inside of my head on a bad day.

You can ride that elephant too. = Favorite line of the day.
