It's down to 7 days and change until I board a plane for Chicago, and then after that, Gencon. I'd like to be able to say I'm looking forward to the trip, but the plain and simple truth of it is I'm not. I'm just too screwed up to be all that sanguine about such a venture. Sorry to hear your illness is not getting better. :(
This makes me sad.

But I'm glad you're going to Gencon. Ever since you mentioned it, I've been wanting to go. I hope it's fun. Hey, maybe you can hook up some pill there!

I've cancelled GenCon for this year. Yeah, I already have a ticket, but that's the cheap part. Even sharing a room it was going to be $80 a night and I just can't afford it. Besides, I should be moving not taking time out for the only convention I attend and the most fun I have all year.

I don't think you'll miss all that much. It's pretty much the same thing every year lately.
