My second and final offering for the Podfic Big Bang this year, is an excellent Freya/Gwen story, The Shoemaker by fleete (NC-17). It was podficced by the equally excellent jelazakazone, betaed by kalakirya, and can be downloaded at Dreamwidth or AO3.

Thank you for your interest! I'm really glad you liked the cover and its variants!

And yes, it can end up a lot of work. This cover took a long time and several complete redesigns, and nearly kicked my ass in the process - mainly because a) it's a historical AU which can mean costume complications, and b) at present, Laura Donnelly has little screen time outside of Merlin (and in her Merlin appearances she usually appears with either a dirt-smeared face or beneath a shimmering water effect!) so it was difficult to find good enough screen caps that I could build the design around.

It's all worth it, though! :D

Also, I was glad to see you commenting about the font here as I recently did a little art quilt and was fretting over the lettering. Ugh. Lettering. It's great when someone else has an awesome font! <3

:) I'm just glad you do like it so much! I confess, every year I get madly confused by commenting etiquette (like: if my podficcer has cross-posted in three places, is it necessary to make a public comment in all of them? or does that just seem insincere?) which isn't helped by the fact that I tend to lose track of who I've actually replied to and who I've just intended to... Gah!

But yeah, I love playing with fonts. And I've had a lot of other times when I've found an awesome piece of art that's just made so much better with a good font, and I end up wishing I knew what it was. So: Credits!
