And as for daily Big Mac - HA. Yeah. I love to have a good old laugh at people who tell me being vegan is unhealthy when they're polluting their bodies with a cornucopia of drugs, meat, dairy, inactivity, cosmetics, plastics and food laced with pesticides (oh the list goes on). There's always a few. When I was in Melbourne recently I was amazed at the swarms of "rebellious" emo kids huddling together and staring sadly at the world as if they knew something we didn't - and right outside Hungry Jacks. Uhhhh....ok. If you're going to hate the man, maybe start by having a clue...
This was about the extremist anti-smoking movement in America. I'll give you some details since you're likely not privy to inane Stateside squabbling like this
( ... )
Yeah, I saw something in your journal about how your work was screwing people Which is interesting because you've posted in the past about how they've screwed with their employees. Man, what is with those guys?
Though I'm not sure you'll agree with my particular angle -- I was actually made at the anti-smoking campaigns. Not about removing smoke from public places where people gather, I'm cool with that. I'm cool with taking down Big Tobacco and removing all the obvious health risks. But these crusaders are going after tobacco as a plant (what's in mass produced cigarettes is so adulterated it barely qualifies as tobacco) and anything else you can smoke regardless whether you're in a hospital or your private residence. And I just think that's way out of control.
P.S. Thanks for the comment on the art post! I like that you compared it to the DeLorean tracks, lol. That's actually some fun imagery -- maybe I'll capture some frames from Back to the Future for my next project. :)
I was going after anti-smoking campaigns for getting Nazi-ish and taking things too far instead of focusing on taking down Big Tobacco and all the (potentially hazardous) adulterants people are sucking up when they use their products.
