31 people are dead so far at VTU, and we don't have all the info on it yet and that dickhead is making gun control statements? *sigh* Yeah

Top that off with the fact that W has spokespeople and flacks doing his talking for him. Bubba or Reagan would have been on the air, speaking directly at a time like this, trying to provide some leadership. This fucknugget just pays someone to toss off a talking point...

Ok, I dislike Bush just as much as you, but that quote came from NPR, the most liberal of all reporting agencies, and when you read the full paragraph from the article (very easy to find by pasting the quote into google) it's obvious that the quote was taken out of context and is being used to get people's danders up because the quote doesn't even make sense in the news article. I'm going to have to go with a shame on NPR for this one.

It was actually the AP press release that phrased it that way, but yes, you are correct about the out of context thing. I've added an edit to the post. Still don't like Bush. :)
