Tassadar's large form stepped out into the tower area. His mind still felt foggy, and it was a sensation that left him on edge. He'd been shocked before, but it had never resulted in such things before. To say that Tassadar didn't like it was an understatement. He was already at such a disadvantage for not having his full abilities, but to now have this added effect caused him great concern.
Padding his way deeper into the tower, Tassadar's attention shifted to observe all the other prisoners around the room. They all seemed to be suffering in different degrees. It was interesting, and disturbing.
Eric didn't need to wait long before the familiar alien appeared. A small smirk appeared on the vampire's face as he waved a hand towards him. Perhaps they could cover more ground tonight if they worked together.
"Were you blessed with an unnecessary nap as well, Tassadar?" he asked after he walked over to meet up with the Protoss. Eric hadn't looked at the damage, but he could feel the burns around his neck itching as they very slowly healed.
His attention shifted over to the few prisoners emerging from within the various wings. Some he recognised, but he hardly gave any attention to them as he sensed another approaching his location. Stepping around to bring Eric entirely into sight, the Protoss warrior chuckled at the rather amusing question.
'Indeed,' The templar murmured while observing the state of the vampire's well being. He didn't see anything outside of the damage from the previous night, which was fortunate. 'It is curious turn of events indeed.'
Eric was glad that the alien, despite his different culture and customs, recognized the joke in his statement. He would have been disappointed if he'd been taken literally.
The large Protoss seemed to be in fine health, which was fortunate. Eric didn't need someone watching his back who was physically hampered. "Where are you headed this evening? Anywhere in particular?"
In the central courtyard, Armand could already see many prisoners moving about or waiting. He spotted Tassadar, but didn't think he had time to greet him. He wanted to get to his rendezvous and back without wasting too much time. If he took too long, Yuuri might get impatient and leave him behind.
He picked his way across to the door that led to the open area between the killers' and traitors' wings. That was the way to the Chapel.
Stepping out into the Central Tower, Cloud was surprised to see that he was the first one out that he knew. Actually, the entire area was quite devoid of the normal assortment of prisoners. Everyone was coming and going quickly, and he reached up to touch his collar, feeling the familiar burn of electricity against his skin.
That was right... something had triggered the collars at dinner time. He wondered what that was about, but it was just another injury to account for the many other burns he had. Still, why did he feel a little different?
Looking at his hand, he leaned against the wall next to the Traitor's Wing and then glanced towards the Killer's Wing. What was taking the ex-General so long anyway? Sephiroth almost felt... annoyed by something, but there were no signs of pain through their link that would indicate further injury. No, it almost seemed like Sephiroth was wanting... to cause injury.
Sephiroth stepped out into the tower area. A quick glance around the large room found the odd prisoner, and he hardly needed to use the link in order to locate Cloud waiting just outside the traitor's wing. Fortunately it appeared as though that Cetra had yet to arrive, and what annoyances he felt towards the stray following along behind him lessened.
Still, he noticed the lack of that foolish king, and felt his eyes narrow as he questioned Cloud, "Have plans changed?"
Pushing off of the wall when Sephiroth emerged from the Killer's Wing, he couldn't help but notice the young one that trailed behind the ex-General. He ignored it for now as he inspected the silver-haired man for new injuries before his eyes settled on Sephiroth's neck. "...where is your collar," he asked as he stared openly.
"And no, Yuuri should be along at any time," he murmured. He managed to rip his glowing eyes off of Sephiroth's throat to glance around the silver-haired man at the kid. "Who's the kid? You're new... friend?"
Shouldering the door open, Sephiroth's eyes instantly scanned through the area. There seemed to be a few prisoners milling about, but it was hardly the prisoners that concerned the ex-General. No, the last time it had been this quiet that damned creature had come.
That was something he wouldn't allow to happen again.
Holding his sword out to the side, Sephiroth began to make his way through the tower area.
11-12 was following silently. He glanced around at the odd prisoner here and there, seeing nobody he knew. The air seemed tense - though he thought that may also just be himself and his nerves tightening up.
Aerith was progressively growing more and more uncomfortable with the passing silence. Normally, such a thing wouldn't have bothered her, but silence here usually indicated that something bad was coming.
Nibbling on her bottom lip, Aerith's eyes flicked from side to side, her gaze falling on not only the prisoners that were still wandering the area, but the dark corners beyond them. She might not be able to fend off and attack, but at least she could warn the others if she happened to see something first.
"I wonder if anyone else is going to try getting the others down," Yuuri found himself muttering questionably as he peered around to the other prisoners. It was all he could do to keep his mind focused on other things than the obvious.
He had to hold it together until he'd at least buried Wolfram.
