[Day 13] Traitor's Wing Showers

Dec 07, 2009 10:26

There was no doubt within his mind that the ones the Warden had spoken about was Cloud and Sephiroth. He'd only caught a quick glance of them the previous night, but even after his healing attempt it seemed as though it hadn't been enough ( Read more... )

Tassadar had been too concerned over his companion to continue on with the evening. The poison on the darts had caused some level of paralysis within the vampire's body, and he had taken lengths to get Eric back to his cell despite his own injuries.

His injuries were hardly bothering him this morning. The healing factor of this prison seemed to be almost unnaturally high, and what would have remained a large slice wound, was already beginning to mend.

Stepping into the shower area, the Protoss warrior caught sight of one panicking prisoner in the distance, but made no move to approach him. Instead he moved deeper into the shower area as he went to find a free shower.

Having followed the prisoners to this shower room, 11-12 paused and simply looked around at everything instead of undressing or indeed showering. Taking a shower with multiple people was also something he wasn't used to doing and wasn't about to instantly do so without more prompting.

He noticed Tassadar and gazed at him curiously, probably appearing a little out of place with his youthful, fresh-faced looks, especially as he was wearing an orange jumpsuit. He looked about as far from a killer as anyone could get.

The large Protoss warrior could feel the curious glance of another as he moved. Slowing his walk, the templar took a step back so that he could turn around to find the source of the stare. It was only ever those new to the prison that gave him such looks, and as his softly glowing gaze fell onto one particularly young human, Tassadar found himself questioning.

It wasn't the first time that there were young teens around, but he had never witnessed one wearing the colours of a killer before.

'You are new here to the prison?' Tassadar asked, but judging by the stare, he felt as though he was correct. Gesturing with a large hand to the other prisoners who were undressing, the templar urged, 'It never does one well to aggravate the guards, not with the dangers this prison brings to us.'

11-12 nodded slowly. "Yes, I'm new here and they won't tell me anything." his voice was soft, with a proper English accent. "Why are you wearing a mask?"

He'd calmed down somewhat but only because this seemed like another nightmare and so he was going to take it as such for now.

Armand was almost too exhausted to move, but he listened with some worry to the warden's announcement and was on his feet early enough. He dragged himself into the hallway and down the stairs. A guard shoved him toward the door and to the other wing. Group showers again.

He searched around while he was removing his clothes and spotted Yuuri. That was enough to ignite his determination to get through another day. So he found a shower and ducked under the water, quietly testing to see if his stomach was still tender since being gassed last night. It wasn't.

The water was a comfort. Armand concentrated on that.

Eric felt positively sluggish, and it irritated him to no end. He wasn't used to feeling this way, and it made him feel grumpier than he had in centuries. In any other place, such little creatures would have been terrified of him and easily slaughtered. In this place, they had actually wounded and poisoned him. It boggled his mind that he'd need help to get back to his cell.

If he had been human, he would have been amazed by the speed at which his wounds had healed. Since he was used to instantaneous healing, the fact that his wounds had scabbed over and now itched only further bothered him.

The poison has mostly left his system by now. The entry points of the darts were still numb to the touch, but the rest of his body was unhindered, though still unused to functioning during daylight hours. Ridding himself of his jumpsuit, Eric entered the showers, unknowingly and randomly choosing the shower head beside Armand. He didn't spare the human a glance, for he might choose to do something unsavory if he insisted on bothering

Aerith's reluctance to remove her jumpsuit was even greater today. She could literally feel the bruise that covered the left side of her chest and neck pulsating along her skin, and it wasn't exactly something she wanted to show off. It was true that she was quite lucky that she didn't have a cracked rib, but people were likely to stare. Cloud wasn't going to like it either, and he was likely going to blame himself for her injury ( ... )
