Day 46 || Mass Text

Mar 07, 2011 21:13

I'm pretty sure someone's couch just floated by me.

Anyone know how much water a house can take before it collapses?

I just arrived a millicycle or two ago. I haven't had a chance to do a proper structural analysis of this place yet, but the floors are soggy. So probably not.

How long is a millicycle?

Probably all the houses are flooding. Same builder and all.

It belonged to the library, so you might want to check yourself for any diseases you may have caught from touching it.

our ceiling is already beginning to give under the strain. the second floor is barely dry enough to be habitable due to leaking through the walls and ceiling. i don't imagine it'll be long before things begin to give way.

at least the beasts are enjoying themselves i suppose.

Maybe if they're fish.

I went up to the roof to see but I can't find any of the leaks. Must be coming through the walls.

one is a lobster, suppose that's close enough.

there's very distinctly a leak in the ceiling, here. certainly not helping the fine puddle that's developed in the sitting room, that's for sure.

You have a lobster?

The waters nasty, it got in our fireplace and now the water is all blackish and ashy. It's gross.
