God's been funny this week. I don't know if I'm just more open to His words or if He's speaking more directly or what, but I finally am starting to feel His presence again, after almost a yearlong absence.
One of the ironic ways He's made Himself evident is this: I was flipping through my Bible tonight, trying to find a psalm that speaks to me. You know which was the ONLY psalm I'd highlighted completely previously? Psalm 42. The very one you quoted here. It smacked me in the face tonight and I was reminded why I'd noted it before.
I skimmed over this entry when you first posted it and thought, "Well isn't that nice," but it really sparked something for me tonight. It's just one of those funny ironic things God uses sometimes.
