sounds like you're to the end of your rope...

aww john! i get so bummed out when i hear these things from you. i think i'm still in denial about doc leaving... and i felt the same frustrations about rasmussen a time or two... sigh...

on an upbeat note, i didn't know that cory was cory! tell him you know me! we went to pacificquest together two years ago and SORTA kept in touch through high school, but with all this talk about him, I'm so glad to make the connection now! lol, small world.

vacation is here! don't pay any thought to school. recharge your batteries. relax.

you're right... thanksgiving break's here... i'll get enough break from school, that tears won't form when i'm trying to confront rasmussen... that happened today...

the problem is... the only person i can talk to about doc's missing presence is sorta on maternity leave... really puts a damper on venting within the department...

i'll have to tell cory you said "hi..." i LOVE the SDA world, since everyone's 2 degrees away from each other...

how long is she on leave for? That is kind of sad/frustrating... I've not been very close to dr. davis but I have every intention of 'making friends' these next few years, haha.

i was so frsutrated when i confronted the dean about my roommate situation a few weeks ago that i couldn't help crying, so i know how you feel. my best suggestion... cry it out. if you keep sucking it up, you'll not be able to control it in a crucial situation. Maybe if you make it to vacation the feeling will pass, but watch out for yourself.

LOL!! I love your current music. His "frickin" oratorio is stuck in your head, huh!!! :)

It's even funnier looking back on Settlers from this entry! That was great times. LOL!!! When you kindly gave Cory that piece of lumber and then he used it to screw you over!!! Hahaha!

Ironically, I hadn't read this entry before the performance during Colloquy today, and tears DID flow during that Irish tune. They flowed down Yvonne's face.

You know, I've been falling into this negative rut myself. My thoughts are, rather than be pissed about the crappiness of Crapville, it's better to turn Crapville into Woot-on-a-Stickville. Helping out MuTh students, por ejemplo. That's why we have to be teachers. We get frustrated when things don't go so well, which motivates us to get involved and be the positive influence that makes things awesome.

Let's save PUC from the black hole of negativity trying to suck it out of existence.

part of me wishes i could just videotape ourselves... those games are priceless, and memorable... but you lose the candid-ness of the situations... oh well... our memories will just have to suffice...

well, i'm glad the music reached someone... those signs yvonne and megan made really put a smile on my face, though...

i've been putting on a happy face all quarter... this was just my time to stop pretending to be okay with everything, and just be melancholy... of course i'm trying to make PUC a "Woot-on-a-Stickville," but sometimes, i just gotta stop faking it... i love helping students out, and i love PUC... i just need these moments when i crash, b/c when others have those same moments, i can empathize with them...

there's nothing wrong with a little realism... it prevents us from becoming complete ignoramuses...

and break's here... i can't wait...

oh yeah, i forgot to mention that i LOVE the Londonderry Aire. Probably one of my all time favorite melodies. It IS a powerful one, even without proper cutoffs or rests or whatever...

Woot-on-a-Stickville. hahaha. No more holy hill, or mere A-town, but it will become Woot-on-a-Stickville. lol.
