more clones

WARNING
The following post contains pictures of exceptionally ugly dolls. Seriously.

At first I even wanted to put black stripes over their faces because the poor things are simply really ugly - but we can't avoid reality or we would drop dead one day while doll shopping ;)

I posted about some clone dolls sold around Xmas every year previously. ( Read more... )

The clothes look well worth buying such horrendous looking dolls. I like the crimson fur-trimmed coat particularly. And the stripey pants!

I'm glad you think this is not completely wasted money ;) Yes, the crimson coat is great, I love it too and my dolls fight for it ;)

I've seen 'em, they're not that bad after all:) Your copper-haired beauty emulates the style of Benetton New York! It somehow makes me feel warm for the producer - they must have had put some heart and research into "creating" that line rather than just mindlessly copy the most popular releases as it's often done. It must be lovely to be a clone dolls manufacturer sometimes - you can just pick your favorites out of such a wide range of outfits and bring them to the masses, teehee~! What about the quality of the clothes:>?

& Doll stands are always a treasure! I almost never buy boxed dolls so the vast majority of my girls just have to sit on their butts and take up thrice as much space as they would have taken were they able to stand:/

Well of course! Benetton outfit, I feel so stupid >.< So good to have you to help ^^
The quality of the clothes is really OK, no complains here. They may not fit the doll you want them to fit and there's no use for shoes but apart from that I really like them.

It must be lovely to be a clone dolls manufacturer sometimes (...)Absolutely :) Clones must be much more fun than creating another $150 Fashion Royalty doll ;) Wouldn't we all like to take part in doll-creating process even if it's just a clone? I often see outfits sewn from fabrics used earlier by Mattel, that's fun. And recently I saw a clone doll box covered with lovely drawings of Silkstones that are not on the website - someone must actually buy these dolls! Clone dolls manufacturers should bring us more Ethnic dolls, don't they realise how popular they are ( ... )

Lol! I find clones fascinating! I get all excited when I find 70's clone outfits (mostly Sindy) that I recognise so this was really interesting to see FF cloning!! And u got a really good haul of clothes there!
