Yesterday in Sociology we were talking about how people either consciencely or sub-consciencely will evaluate thier partners to see if a furitre with them is possible. Love brings too people together, but very rarely do people marry or get seriosue with people outside thier own class or community. A doctor would not marry a high school drop out.

that's an interesting assertion to make, although i don't entirely agree with it.

people who are poor often marry rich. and sometimes love overtakes social class. i guess generally it doesn't, though.

but i don't agree that "love hardly lasts forever". that is a sad look out on life, lol.

I think people will do that, but its not the most influencial factor in determining if they want to be with that person. atleast it shouldn't be, then no one would ever be happy.

That is a sad phrase. all we talk about it class is how high the divorce rate is, its so depressing.
