I recommend trotting down to a used book store or thrift store and picking up a cheesy, well-illustrated book on crochet from the'70's. That's how I learned all sorts of clever crochet techniques. Also, get thee to ravelry.com if you aren't there already. It's the holy internet grail of knitting and crochet everything. I want to get back into crochet because you can make the most gorgeous lace that way! And apparently I love lace?
That's a good idea about the book. I shall do that. And I do have a ravelry profile though I haven't done much with it since I haven't even figured out this crochet thing. And also, lace is awesome.
