I have run out of dry catfood. I have ordered more dry catfood. But will my little fluffy darlings, who will normally take your hand off for wet catfood accept that they have no dry at the moment?
Well, to my amazement I've managed to get the bathroom fixed and the boiler services for £250. Of which £130 was buying a new loo. If anyone wants a good plumber in the NE, let me know

No2 son's teacher is on strike- so today he has been in the woods. Finding things.
So far- old style milk bottle (intact) a broken tile, a complete door handle etc assembly (with relatively early green plastic doorknobs) some potsherds and a quoit. A proper, iron quoit.
The children away for the weekend, boating with Sea Cadets. Peace and quiet are reigning and we've just had a very very nice take away from Brighton Grove Tandoori, followed by tea and Indian sweets.
Why does it have to be so hard to get boys' clothes that are suitable? I needed to get flip flops for the children (thanks for giving me the kit list on MONDAY Sea Cadets...) so I naively thought I could get them at Asda last night
