Edited to add: Aha! I remember! Exploding cannonballs were not, in fact, realistic for sea battles.

I can't fill out the poll at the site of the bigoted assholes, but I wanted to do my part in the googlebomb. I encourage all my American friends to make their voices heard, assuming you haven't already seen this a bazillion times on your friends page.

Hi! Okay, so as you may notice, my journal is friends-only, or on it's way to being there. Few current posts are public, and I'm going through the old ones to convert them to friends-only. Okay, here's the plan. I'm lazy. I'm also not in the mood for a high-pressure-must-organize-party type thing. So, here's the casual plan for a gathering:

At 8:00 tomorrow night, at Brutopia, I will go drinking cider in honour of my birthday. Everyone is invited to come.
