Little One and I went to King's Grove school this morning - it was at the top of her preference list and it still is. I would be very happy for her to go there, but in a week and a half we're going to look at Ruskin (which is our catchment school and the school for which her primary is a feeder), just to make sure. How could you gauge the atmosphere on a Sat - wasn't it all set up especially for open day? It might be worth seeing if you could look round in a school day if you haven't already cos the vibes can be very different.

Goodness has that time come around already? I think an open day is a good idea, the schools here just have open evenings, and it is a bit of a rush to see everything, and a cruch! We did go and look around the school we liked the most during a normal school day afterwards too. Sitting outside the school at home-time gives you an idea of the pupils too :)

I have random nose-bleeds too, not nice. I hope you had a lovely time with Rosie.

The school is right next door to the children's primary school (they share a field!) and so we mingle quite closely with the pupils before and after school every day!
