Achievements today so far

As I fully expected, I didn't go back to bed when I got home this morning. It is lunchtime now and so far today I have achieved the following (gosh it is all a million times simpler when there isn't a lively four year old in the house

As I drag shopping home I tell myself people pay good money for this in a gym! It helps.
I’ve not read Tess. Rather enjoyed the BBC adaptation although it dragged a bit towards the end I found. And I spent lots of time shouting at evil-Alec. He really got my back up.
I really ought to get my hair cut. Can I be bothered?

Hehehe, the gym thought went through my head on the way home too! I was thinking of all the calories I must be burning, but also thinking how many calories I would then be consuming when I had the hot choc with cream... I'm not sure they quite balanced one another out somehow! ;-)

On the shopping thing - take a rucksack to the supermarket instead of shopping bags. You can carry a lot more, and more comfortably, that way.
