Homemade jostaberry jam

I was sure that I'd posted here about making jostaberry jam, but I've just looked back through my entries and it seems that I haven't. Oops!

So... The jostaberries that finally bore a few fruits last year came up trumps a few weeks ago. I haven't made jam for about 20 years, but this year there were too many just to eat as pies and crumbles, so

We've had a couple of ripe blackberries so far. I'm really hoping there will be enough to make blackberry jelly.
