HE PICTURED LEXIE WHEN HE HAD SEX WITH CALLIE? I haven't seen (and have no desire to see) the episode... but I'm not sure how this makes it all okay? I guess they weren't cheating so it doesn't necessarily have to even be 'okay' but... I just... don't get it?
Also, you're the first person on my flist that hasn't used the word 'gross' to describe the M/L this episode!!! Including some M/L shippers... Haha! Interesting how people view the same thing so differently!
Oh, no, I didn't mean that him picturing Lexie made the Callie sex okay. To be honest though, I've no problem with the Mark/Callie hookup, because they made it clear that it was purely physical and it was obvious that they both were disappointed afterwards

I also have no problem with the Callie/Mark hook up! They make so much more sense to me as a couple than C/A or L/M, but I think that is mostly to do with the chemistry between ED and SR than their actual storyline... haha!
I won't comment any more on the actual M/L hook up, because like I said I haven't seen it... BUT I agree with you re. Chyler's acting abilities and the way that she sells the character of 'Lexie'. She really is brilliant (and truly highlights the fact that Eric Dane really isn't sometimes...!).
Ha! I did love that scene! Most of my favorite/funny Grey's moments involve Cristina.
And I'll admit that 80% of my love for M/L stems solely from Chyler and her brilliant faces/performances. She's extremely talented, she really does highlight moments when Eric Dane falls a little flat. It was just the way Lexie responded to Mark (and his otherwise creepy advances) that sold me in this past episode.
I still can't quite believe how much I actually liked their scenes! OMG, scratch that, I LOVED them!
And as you say about another story, I was seriously prepared to loathe the scene where Mark only pretends to do her a favor! In abstract contents, the whole thing, starting from her request, reads just so incredibly selfish. But it turned out *gasp* cute! HOW did they pull this off??? I can't believe it...
And of course he thought of Lexie when he was with Callie! That just confirms my belief that he was always thinking about Lexie whenever he had sex with anyone after the breakup ;)
And yeah, what's that? I felt a little sorry for Jackson too?! wtf? Am I addicted to triangles now or what? lol
Anyway, what a great kiss. That got cut much too short of course. But in my head, they're still kissing ♥ and giving in to the irristible attraction ♥ ♥ and maybe even talking about the "different things" confusion ♥ ♥ ♥ ... up until the Mallie baby enters the stage... :P
I know! Well, in the previous they showed the kiss, so the entire episode through I was seriously thinking Mark was going to just kiss her at Joe's and she was going to freak out. I was willing Mark to just leave her alone and stop hanging around, because I freakin' love him and didn't want him to turn into a creep, but oh that ending! The way he was touching her cheek? I just couldn't stop freaking out. And Lexie's face? You literally saw the moment where she realized how much he meant to her. It was seriously cute

Has that been confirmed? I HOPE NOT! But haha, wouldn't a Mallie baby just fit perfectly into all that talk about "some surprises ahead" and "slow journey" and the musical episode centering around Callie? And into this show's penchant for soap opera, esp. around Mark? LOL Ah, it's just a pet scare for me. I really hope they don't dare to do this.
