We came home yesterday. Part of me is glad to be home (because I missed my son) but part of me did not want to leave. The resort was excellent. We did so much fun stuff. We: Rented scooters, went on a sunset cruise, went to the beach, went to the Aquarium & a shipwreck museaum, saw a "drag race", drank too much, got too much sun & did lots of ( Read more... )

The next time you are in Fla, you should make it a point to get down there.
There is NO shortage of men of the alternative lifestyle ;)

Cool. But like I said, Key West is a long way from Orlando. Reemember, Florida is not like Massachusettes; it takes two long days to drive from Pensacola to Key West.

I'll get down there one of these days.

Glad you had a good time. At least the weather now should be a lot warmer than when you left. :-)

Oh, this sounds exciting! An Aquarium--what sort of fish did they have? Did they also have crocodiles?
What's a 'drag race'?

They had sharks & turtles & reef fish. Sorry, no crocs.

Although, I did drive through the Fla Everglades & I saw a sign on the side of the road that said "Crocodile Crossing" (maybe Aligator Crossing, I don't remember *blushes*) and I thought of you. I looked for one to take a pic but they must have been busy.

A drag race is when men dress up in women's clothes, wigs & high heels then run an obsticle course. It was quite funny.

Had I actually thought for a moment, I might have concluded that myself *hits self on forehead*. We have a famous drag race in Düsseldorf once a year. It's supposed to be THE event of the season, but I've never been there.
