I can't remember how I arrived on that slideshow about muxes ("men who consider themselves women and live in a socially sanctioned netherworld between the two genders.") from an area of Mexico where Zapotec is still spoken and things such as this three gender system survived colonisation

C'est très intéressant. Le fait que plusieurs civilisations anciennes aient accepté le concept de troisième genre bien avant les occidentaux (qui se battent encore avec l'idée) donne à réfléchir. L'occident se croit tellement tolérant...
