People had a tendency to write Tony DiNozzo off as a fun-loving playboy. Regardless of the fact that he was the Senior Field Agent and one-time leader of NCIS's Major Case Response Team, he tended to be written off as gullible and not particularly bright. It was a facade that he worked hard on, as underestimation always puts you one step above the enemy

Hehe, all kidding aside, I love it. Love this side of Tony. Sad that Gibbs jumped to conclusions and didn't try to talk about it. Sad that that it broke them up. Thanks.

I tried to get them together...but they were stubborn.

Thanks! I ended up rewriting this thing twice because it kept being stubborn and insisting on being less of a Tony-has-brains thing and more of a this-is-how-Tony-supplements-his-income thing or writing the pairing out completely.

Sucks when the characters are stubborn. But it was great despite that. :)
