I found this website about a month ago and wanted to share it:

All kinds of hedgie snacks...dried or live worms...freeze dried or canned crickets..etc...and they also sell Wodent Wheels...apparently the only wheels approved by the ASPCA. They also sell regular pellet feed mixed with dried worms which I thought was an excellent ( Read more... )

Is your Wodent Wheel plastic on the inside? Mine is older and some kind of awful, impossible-to-clean material. Penny loves it but omg. Cute hedgies!

yeah it's the hard to clean stuff.. sheena thankfully doesn't poop much in hers...but i end up buying new wheels frequently because it's easier than cleaning!

Ahh. yeah tell me about it. My boyfriend and I both get nauseous cleaning Penny's. I bought a comfort wheel and she kept slipping off so I admitted defeat to cleaning the nasty wheel hahaha. :-p

Thanks for the heads up on that website. I've got to switch Wesley over to a different food soon because I can't keep ordering it from the breeder in Canada. That's just not practical. So this was super helpful :)

they apparently have injured themselves getting out of them quickly, they are made for rats who are more slender, and let's be honest, a little smarter and faster than our guys.
i don't know from experience, i read it on the hedgehog central foums...people on there have had problems with them.
