R.I.P. Madison [August 2008 - March 2009]

Madison died about an hour ago. She had food water and a warm environment. She was walking around like normal this morning and wasn't showing any signs of illness, so this is a shock to me. She was a little under a year old.

Does anyone know anything that can cause hedgehogs to die like that, without warning?

that's so sad... :( may she rest in peace, poor thing.

like others have already said, every reason is just a guess until you have a vet take a closer look at why this happened. sorry i can't be of more help.
