Games I would like to run...

The cave troll is getting antsy and hasn't had a gaming fix since... uh... his 27th b-day. So to try to ease the tension and fool my brain into releasing some polyhedrical endorphins, here are the ideas I have for when my group convenes again ( Read more... )

Sounds like fun!

Did I tell you I'm playing a game? Justin's running it online with a bunch of his friends. It's set in Eberron. I'm a halfling sorcerer. :)

Whoa, cool!
Are you a blaster-type or buffer-type?

So far I'm a "What? You need healing *again*?!?" type. But I killed a guy with my sling once on a really lucky roll. And I can put things to sleep. I'm level 2. Aspirations of greatness and all that. But mostly I'm the healer for the group.

The other guys playing tend to get their butts kicked a lot lately. Well, except for the guy playing a warforged. He's like a brick wall . . . .

But I'm having fun! We're playing again tonight.

Wait, what? Cave troll confused. Sorcerer != Healer in the normal course of things, unless you've got a wand or something or a whole buncha potions.

Count me in.

Wait, what do you mean it won't be in Engineering House?

Or you could just fly up to Boston, break into Engineering house, and hold all the residents hostage until game is over... every weekend...

Thanks. Actually, the White Wizards would be the mostly-antagonistic nation of magic users from a previous game run by angelrogue, and I decided, "hey, why not?"

I also like the idea of the Shaman from the OA book being a sort of religious figure for the 10K Immortals (e.g. the animistic spirits of nature), and further being relegated to a sort of "hick" religion by the Elven Shugenja who worship the elements in the form of the four classical beasts, and claim that their religion is a far more "civilized" way to pay homage to all spirits.

Add in "westerners" from a standard DnD 3.5 setting and good times are sure to result.

While going back to Ravenloft is very appealing, I have to admit that pretty much all of those options look interesting.

Okay, while I appreciate your faith in my abilities, you realize that as a method of helping me to narrow the field down, that response is not helpful in the slightest, right?
