First, my rabbi sent me this
slideshow of Israeli soldiers during the recent conflict. The song is beautiful and though I'm not yet fluent in Hebrew, I picked up a few words like "tefillah hatikvah" which means "prayer of hope."

Also, Jordanian Arabs had control over half of Jerusalem from 1948 until 1967, but there hasn't been complete Arab control of Jerusalem for over 500 years (neither the Turks nor the British were Arab), so what makes their claim any stronger than the Jewish claim? Do the British also have a claim? Do the Turks? How about the Vatican?
There has always been a Jewish presence there and, God willing, there will always be a Jewish presence there. To deny the relationship of Jews to Jerusalem is to deny history. Please, come join us in reality!
