Okay, I have confession. I had NO idea that Christopher Eccleston was on Heroes until tonight. I recognized his voice, and even placed it as being "Doctor Who" but it never occurred to me to, uh, check the credits.

...I really hope he'll be back.

I can understand how you didn't recognize his face, what with the hair being all long and shaggy and the beard being all there. And I have a confession, too, which is that I'm seeing most of Eccleston's eps of DW for the first time now that they're airing on BBC America, nearly two years after they first aired in England. (I did, however, pirate all of S2.)

And now that you know it's him, don't you love the similarities to the Doctor? He calls Peter a poodle, which is practically the same thing as "stupid ape," right? *LOVES*

I hope he'll be back, too. They have him listed as a guest star and not a regular character, but they did the same thing for Nora Zehetner (who played Eden McCain) and she was on for 7+ episodes. I think it'd be cool if they had another one of the heroes bump into him (Isaac, maybe? Even though I pretty much hate him... or maybe Nathan?).

I just got into Doctor Who too. And I confess that at first I skipped a bunch of the Eccleston ones to get to David Tennant. But now I'm reformed and I have mad love for both Doctors.

So, what, like Claude somehow finds out about what's going down with Bennet or, say, Hana contacts him, and he goes down to their house and Claire sees him disappear? And then they go find Peter and save the world YAAAAAAY! \0/

I have been agog over this pairing for *so long*. And now with Simone dead, I have a ficplot! YAY!

Sweet! I didn't mean it so much in a pairing way as in a "wow, my current two favorite shows are really paralleling each other a lot" way, but I wouldn't be adverse to reading about the pretties face to face. XD
