A bit you say?! It's classic, though. Deeeeeeeeep down he knows Lily is what he wants, needs, craves, lives on, but that would make him dependent, thus weak, therefore he blocks it out. And kills his own soul in doing that, breaks a few hearts... but that doesn't matter, 'cause he's a bloody rockstar.

...and don't we all still love him for it?
