This is a brilliant idea. Your A Tale of Two Cities spin on the Hetaliaverse works wonderfully!

I loved the little love triangle you put in there, and the idea that a Nation can be killed by his or her people is an awesome (not to mention brutally democratic ^_^) one.

Plus, the chloroform (or what ever it was) bit was so funny, because but I think England would have loved a valid excuse to knock France out!

Thank you!

Ah, yes, democracy. It's always been a pet theory of mine, and I use it to explain why Prussia's still around, too...

Hehe. In A Tale of Two Cities, I always got the feeling that Carton enjoyed that bit. So it seemed to fit with England, as well. xD

1) I don't know whether I should laugh or cry when I read that Francis has been charged with treason. Hmm, governments are supposed to protect their people, so when a government fails, it must have let its people down. (I might be wrong, but I think that the real-life Jacobins are patriots, since they've been trying their best to save France, yeah.)
2) Oh gosh, I really admire Arthur here. He has already put himself into danger, yet he still remains calm enough when he's exchanging clothes with Francis. Plus, he dares to call Francis a frog, haha.
3) I've never read "A Tale of Two Cities" before, but thanks for posting this. :D
