Why, why, WHY must the badfic writers continue with giving Jack accents- especially ones that don't even exist? He's got peculiar speech patterns, but his accent is actually fairly educated, particularly compared to Gibbs or Pintel & Ragetti. Gah!

I know, it's so puzzling, because...have they not seen the movies? Or maybe they're deaf? If they've never actually heard English spoken, that would explain the missing aitches on words like "this" of all things...

...and they're not even missing "h"s are they? They're inexplicably missing "t"s. I think I was trying to inject more sense into the writer's choices of dropped letters...
