Wow. I was not prepared for this. After a May full of cranky, cold and rainy weather, it is 99 degrees outside.

Had tomato soup with Tabasco and horseradish and Old Bay last night with some shredded cheese. This morning, after taking Greta on a brisk walk through the dry crackling leaves, I took a stingingly hot shower and bundled up in a turtleneck sweater dress with high brown boots.

I love Autumn.
