Great post! I love that everyone is named john and that your aunts ex brother in law is still your uncle and maybe in love with her. That's family!

I can't believe your kid is 7 months and eating solids. Seems like q world away. I can't wait to eat oysters, one of the only pregnancy rules that i actually followed (I totally ate sushi [at a fancy place I knew would be safe], soft cheese, and had an occasional beer) and I loooove oysters. First date night, which I imagine will be in approx 7 months, that's what I'm getting!

Sounds like you had a very nice holiday. I'm sorry I missed you when you were in NE, but I'm glad you got the chance to spend some solid time with family. I was just talking to Josh about food reset- we're using it as inspiration. :-)

I've been meaning to tell you for weeks- I brought a Christmas present for you on the off-chance that I'd be able to sneak away and see you. It's at my parents house waiting for you any time. Or do you want me to see if my mom can bring it by your work?

You guys already seem so healthy and active. Take inspiration from us? Ha.

Traveling with a little one in tow definitely makes things ... interesting. :)

It's great that you guys sing Christmas carols at the hospital. That warms my heart.

I like that you two makes New Years resolutions about food, though I don't think we could pull that off. Maybe I could convince my wife not to have "pasta nights" for a month, as it's her easy go-to for feeding us. Haha.

Oh yes, logistics. Oy.

The funniest thing about caroling was constantly answering the question, "Which church are you all from?" with "None." We're just....friends, and stuff."

Seems like you two dance off most of your carbs:)

I keep pretty fit, thought I'm still fairly young, but the dancing certainly helps burn off calories. :)
