There are only 5 guys in my cohort at school. There are about 20 girls. Therefore, the guys end up with an overinflated sense of their own specialness and value. Sometimes I just want to shake one of them and say "Just because you're A MAN doesn't mean you're THE MAN. Act right ( Read more... )

Congrats on being done!

I imagine your program is a lot like working public schools. We've got a seriously skewed male to female ratio. It seems like they feel the need to balance out the overabundance of estrogen with completely obnoxious testosterone-driven behavior.

And for the record, I'm not really a gift grubber, but I'd prefer not to get a MasterCard t-shirt this year. ;)
