Does anyone else find it incredibly ironic that Paula Deen, a woman who has been described as the GASTRONOMIC ANTI-CHRIST, has announced that she has been diagnosed with diabetes (for the last 3 years!) and is partnering with a drug company to promote their latest hideously expensive diabetes drug? -

Been off exploring Facebook & Google+ & Flickr and... well, you get the picture. I'd thought about letting this little journal fade away into obscurity but thanks to the kind comments of a dear friend & several readers, this blog shall live on. Looking back at last year's post, I think I hit it on the head for most... It was a brutal year in soooo many ways!

Have I mentioned lately that I work with some amazingly stupid people? I was stopped in tha hallway the other day by a co-worker & she handed me a coin. She asked me what denomination it was. She was confused by the wording on the front of the coin... it said "quarter dollar". -

As I was leaving Wal-Mart the other day, I overheard a small boy ask his mother "Is Wal-Mart really the gateway to Hell?". -
Oh dear god...
On the way to work this morning a neighborhood church had a sign that said: "Servico in el Spanisho". I didn't have time to take a picture at the time & it was corrected by the time I came back by this afternoon... dammit. -
Now I've seen it all...
Someone at work actually asked someone at an insurance company to mail her a copy of the document that she faxed to this person in the first place... so that she could have a copy of it!! -

Okay...
The cat is NOT a good patient. She wants to go outside NOW & that's not gonna happen until the vet removes the drain that was implanted in her ear (which is really gross, by the way).
We've already had several "conversations" & one confrontation this morning.
It's going to be a long 2 weeks...
