We want Tatsu on The A-Team
As many of you know, Tatsu is a huge A-Team fan. He owns the entire series on DVD and watching it as a kid introduced him to the seiyuu profession. The A-Team movie will be opening in theaters in Japan in August 2010. Tatsu has mentioned many times in his blog that he would love to be a part of the dubbing cast.
My original plan was to write to FoxJapan, but as far as I can tell, they are not accepting letters from the general public. But! madamada_chan has written a letter to Tatsu's manager to voice her support for Tatsu to be a part of the movie. (Letter translated by me.) She has asked me to post it as an open letter on this community and the URL of this entry will be included in the letter.

まず大変お忙しい中この手紙を読んでくださってどうもありがとうございます。そしていつも鈴木さんの事をありがとうございます。これからもよろしくお願いします。
鈴木さんが「特攻野郎Aチーム」の映画版に参加したいことをご存知だと思います。一人のファンとして鈴木さんの映画出演を応援していることを伝えたいと思いまして、この手紙を書いています。鈴木さんが喜ぶという理由だけではなく、心からこの作品に出演するにふさわしいと思うからです。才能がありますが、それより、信じている皆さんの期待に応えるために努力をしています。もし機会があれば、是非オーディションなど鈴木さんが映画に参加できるように力になってください。

First of all, I would like to thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to read this letter. Also, thank you for always taking care of Suzuki-san and please look after him from now on as well.
As his manager, I'm sure you already know how much Suzuki-san wants to be part of the upcoming A-Team movie. I am writing this letter to convey my support as a fan. I am not saying this because it will make him happy, but because I fully believe that he has what it takes to be a part of the cast. He has talent, but more than that, he works hard to live up to the expectations of everyone who believes in him. If the chance ever comes along, please do your best to help him audition.
