... seriously?

I have no disrespect for teen parents, people make mistakes, they make bad decisions and shit happens, but seriously... you'd think that at 21, after having had a baby at 19 with a RANDOM guy already, a girl would've learned a lesson, not ended up pregnant with ANOTHER random deadbeat's baby! Seriously, shit happens, but not THAT MUCH shit happens ( Read more... )

sick, sleepy, randomness, blah

Damn! I am so glad my mom wasn't like that. She was like 17 for 4 months before i was born... she also married my dad and had 2 more kids... THEN they got divorced LMAO!! BUT she's been married to my step dad for like a century(not really more like 15 years)But seeing teen moms like that makes me A) TERRIFIED for my daughters B)Terrified for the future generations... and C) makes me want to slap the SHIT of of their mother for not being a mother and laying down some rules and for not actually caring ( ... )

See, I don't disagree, but honestly? The idea that they don't learn anything is bullshit ( ... )

In my experience they think that adults don't know shit about shit... even though adults have been there before, and more than likely done the things they are telling you not to do, teenagers(not all teenagers, but still quite a few) tend to think that they are 1)invincible 2)the smartest beings ever to smart 3)NEVER GOING TO MAKE THOSE MISTAKES... which in reality is so far from the truth is makes me laugh until I pee ( ... )

Psh, here we did a count once... counting fathers and mothers, about 10% of my school had children.

TEN PERCENT!

And yeah, the problem is, I never could relate to those teenagers because I was the kid that if I had reasonable belief in what I was hearing, I didn't have some defiance reaction!

I never had a defiant side. I could see WHY they told me 'don't do this' and just accepted it.

The saddest thing is, in a way, I sorta think they get what they deserve. I'm really big on the 'you can make your own choices if you wanna live with the consequences' in EVERYTHING. People call me sick for it, but it's almost like the time I said it was a good thing heroin overdoses were at an alltime high because 'Good, it weeds out the idiots from the gene pool'

... yeah, I may or may not be harsh on some things, like the 'oh you have AIDS? Shouldn't have slept with every guy you could get your hands on and not use condoms on any of them!' (Obviously, I wouldn't assume that about everybody, I'm just saying the people I KNOW were massive sluts,

it was so weird seeing my icon for this post, but is just fits perfectly sometimes, huh? i've imagined more than once that bill was Scar from the lion king. especially during the prancy, Be Prepared song. i actually laughed so hard when i went to see the 3d version.

also, bless this post. MTE. it's really just sad. and it pisses me off that this can happen over and over again, but gay people can't get married and adopt in the US. it's often redneck, white-trash that are the first to mouth off homophobic BS, too.

It is! These people are ALL a bunch of trailer trash (not to offend people living in trailers who AREN'T trash) and I know for a fact at least the oldest one has called MY best friend a freak because he's gay.

... for fucks sake, you HAVE SCREWED A NEW GUY EVERY WEEK SINCE YOU WERE ABOUT TWELVE and my best friend, who has had one boyfriend ever, has been with him for about two years, and probably will ONLY ever be with him the way it seems is the freak just because they both happen to have dicks?

*wow, got angry there, sorry! you just brought up a bad place*

it's a hot button topic for me too. and it sucks, because living in a rural area in the midwest, i'm usually the one with the unpopular opinion on the topic. grrrr.
