I have no disrespect for teen parents, people make mistakes, they make bad decisions and shit happens, but seriously... you'd think that at 21, after having had a baby at 19 with a RANDOM guy already, a girl would've learned a lesson, not ended up pregnant with ANOTHER random deadbeat's baby! Seriously, shit happens, but not THAT MUCH shit happens, dude.
AND her 15 year old sister's pregnant too... I would say something sarcastic about 'their mom must be so proud' but she had the oldest one at about 16 too, still doesn't KNOW who the second one's dad is, and is an unemployed deadbeat with 3 DUIs to her record.
That is one whole family of failure, sadly.
The great-grandfather of those two is 86 (which is wierd to me since my GRANDmother was 82 when she died and I'm the OLDEST grandchild)... of his children, I think only two are still living, one is those two's grandmother. Of his grandchildren, half of them are either in prison or rehab. Of his GREAT grandchildren, I only know of 6 of them and of those six, two are getting arrested all the time, a girl my age and a boy two years older, two are now teen mothers, and the other two are my cousins, one who is married, doesn't drink, doesn't smoke, has a steady job, has a wife with a steady job, and is a good person, the other is his little brother, who is 14, is an A-student, and plans to join the military.
... Again, I'm NOT saying anything disrespectful about teen parents, I know shit happens (TRUST ME, my life is full of 'shit happens', just of a different nature) but really... they're an entire family of fuck ups! Hell, I'm lucky that my uncle (one of his grandkids) is a good guy and my aunt is a good (if crazy) lady who married into that PSYCHOTIC fuck up of a family, you know? I could've ended up with druggy alcoholic deadbeat cousins if my aunt had married one of the other people in that family, lmao!
The saddest part is how perfect of an example of 'nature vs. nurture' there is going on there. It suggests nature, but then the ONE grandson that wasn't a fuckup produced non-fuckups, which suggests a bit of both.
Makes you feel bad for the baby and unborn babies of those girls, doesn't it? Chances are they're more likely to end up fuckups than not.
