Robin was in the forest, bow out, hunting a stag he had been tracking for quite some time. His supply was soon to run out and while he could go and buy meat at the store, he needed some leather for new clothes for him and his daughter. He did cloth his daughter in 'modern' attire, but he also wanted his daughter used to leather and harsher cottons in the small chance they were pulled back to his world together. It would not do well if his daughter refused the more 'crude' fabrics.
The stag seemed to be paused at a brush, eating at the hidden winter berries. Robin paused, pulling back at the string and calming his breathing for a clean shot.
Maleficent nearly called out to the archer until she saw his ears. Her eyes tracked his aim to the stag and she fell still.
The temptation to send the stag haring off in order to see the human's frustration was tempered by the fact that there was a little child present too. How might he react if he felt the child was threatened?
She chose not to find out and instead waited until he loosed the arrow already to make her presence known.
Robin released the arrow. It flew through the air - a clean shot and the stag fell to the ground without any lingering pain. The man stood, pausing before he slowly made his way toward the animal.
(ooc: Robin's by himself >.> She's too young to take out hunting yet, though he does take her out to collect hares from the snares)
Bo left Aphrodite's temple, feeling somewhat satiated by the pink drink the goddess offered to provide for the succubus. It wasn't as thirst-quenching as feeding was, but it was better than killing a bunch of humans and going on a sex rampage, as wonderful as that often sounded to her. Her thoughts still went back to Remy - it was the best she had felt in months and yet... Remy was her best friend's boyfriend. Sure, Kenzi had left the village, but still.
She sighed as she headed to the park. Bo turned heads of everyone she passed, though she mostly tried to ignore them all.
Normally Maleficent would scarce have taken notice of the dark-haired woman.
However, when she found her fingers trailing over the skin of her throat and upper chest as she gazed at Bo with the same warm flutterings in her belly that confused her about Legolas, she could not deny that Bo had arrested her attention.
With her usual cool gaze, she sized the woman up, barely aware that her feet had turned towards the other woman. And not at all aware her hand had resumed its self-caressing.
She got that feeling like she was being watched. She paused in step, trying to get a sense of what she was feeling, then turned around until she saw the woman staring at her. It was a little hard not to notice the whole horn thing. Definitely not human. "Hey there." She offered the woman a weak smile, calling out from where she was.
The greeting drew Maleficent out of the fugue she'd fallen into and the Faerie blinked. Her hand fell back to her side, but she continued walking toward Bo until they were in conversational range.
Maleficent wasn't terribly well socialized compared to humans so she searched for something suitably neutral to say in greeting. She settled on the mentally cringe-worthy, "You have beautiful hair..." For only the briefest moment her inner facepalm showed on her features.
