There wasn't much one could do with Apothecary supplies to make a Christmassy display in the window, but Draco did his best. There was a cauldron atop a burner with hot chocolate simmering inside its belly. The whole shop smelled like chocolate, much to the owner's delight. He sipped from a snowman-shaped mug between tinsel and fairy light

He'd seen Draco through enough Christmas' to get that it was hit-or-miss for the Slytherin, and that this was going to be a 'hit'. It was something Cedric was happy to see, something he actively supported and encouraged in various ways.
One such way, for example, was to show up for work wearing a small pair of antlers, buckskins, and a glowing red nose.
He grinned at the blonde when Draco first caught sight of it. "What? Is it too much?"
Reply
"Just a bit!" he forced out, and failed at several attempts to get himself under control.
"Take the nose off! You're going to kill me!"

"If anyone asks, I have never known you." He massaged his face muscles. "Oh my god. What the bloody hell possessed you to dress up like that?"
Reply
"I suppose I have to go in."
He did.

"Hey there!" Draco stirred his hot chocolate with the peppermint stick. "Fancy a hot drink?"

"Did something happen to cause this burst of seasonal joy or is it all you?"

"Just me. I haven't been drugged lately."

He had wanted to look around in here more since he'd only been once before, so free hot chocolate was definitely a plus. While Castiel didn't often dabble in any spells unless he had to, it was good to know what the village had readily available should he have to use one.

"Good afternoon," he said by way of greeting as he stirred the cauldron. "Can I interest you in a mug of hot chocolate?"
Reply
"Oh yes, that would be great." He smiled slightly, glancing around the shop then back at Draco. "Huh, you have quite a selection."
He couldn't remember the last time he'd seen this many potion-making ingredients. The middle ages, perhaps?

"Being the only Apothecary in town is no reason to slack off," he said with a grin. "It's a level one method to crushing competition."

And after a lot of Christmas browsing and buying gaudy decorations, how could he possibly say no to a sigh that said Free Hot Chocolate? He couldn't. He tried.
Well... maybe he didn't try at all.
Instead, he just stepped into the store (that seemed half chemist shop and half olde worlde witches shoppe) and rubbed his hands together happily. "Sign says free hot chocolate?" He said, grinning. Hopefully it was going to be a decent mug full, not one of those crappy little paper cups.

"The train should be coming back around soon if you like toppings and such."
There was no such things as half-assed when it came to Draco. If something was going to be done, it was going to be done properly.

He glanced about, looking for some sort of train tracks on the surfaces or floor, to indicate where abouts his toppings were going to appear from. Hopefully one train was going to be enough.

There were some people, but magic users were not a large part of the population these days.
A toy train's whistle sounded twice. One floated towards them, chugging away and trailing small clouds of steam, and came to a stop on the front counter. there were twelve cargo cars in total, each with a unique topping.
Draco nabbed the small can of whipped cream and topped off his own mug.
