"Uh.. hi?" Eli kept his distance, just in case.

"Hi," Arthur said back, letting go of the post and walking just a few steps closer to the young man. The way he had spoken sounded as if he was just mimicking. As if what the word really meant didn't quite make it. After a few more moments, his mind began to catch up a little.
"Where... where am-- are we?"

"Okay, so... this might sound a little crazy..." Or not, he considered, since the man looked the way he did. "We're in a pocket dimension. It's like, a separate place other than your world. So, wherever you were before, you're not there anymore." Obviously...

"Is this...?" He trailed off. Pocket dimension. Not home. Not... Dammit. Unexpectedly, he started to cry again. Not in happiness this time, but frustration. "Where's home? Not--" He took a gasping breath, looking serious and hastily wiped his face. "Belgium!" he cursed and sighed heavily, "Not here."

Arthur sighed, looking disappointed. He wrung his towel in his hands, thinking. Home... It took him a long few moments to think of it. And still nothing was coming up. He decided to be a little more general.
